I've heard of and actually seen a thirty year old individual with a coloring set of crayons doing a coloring book.

Parrots can see colors humans can't see. So the answer is no.

Perhaps back with Adam and Eve, they could see tetrachromatics. But, after expulsion from the Garden, imperfection took over, and over the past 6000 yrs, the number of people who could see tetrachromatic diminished (ie. I say this because diseases of the body and deformities came due to imperfection, and increased the farther away from the perfect state). So, perhaps, those people who were closer to perfection (ie, those who could live almost 800 yrs or so), they could see all those extra hues and contrasts that we can no longer see.
Just a thought.
And, when perfection is restored, and if this what I mentioned is true, everyone would have the 4th cone restored, and how even much more beautiful everything would become!!!
