Become an International Judge

ISAF Race Officials Administration is governed by Section 3 of the ISAF Regulations.

The basic requirements for a candidate applying to become an International Judge are:

  • have attended an ISAF Judging Seminar in the last four years;
  • have passed the written examination in the last four years;
  • have served as a member of a protest committee for at least 3 principal event (fleet racing). At two of these he shall have been a member of an internation jury and one event must have been outside his Group or MNA.
  • have three completed IJSC reference forms from the jury chairman who shall be an International Judge

All candidates must ensure they have read the relevant Regulations in full in order to understand the complete qualifcations required to become an International Judge. (link to regulations).
