Aegon has organized groups within their office to volunteer with HODR since the beginning of Project Cedar Rapids. To date more than 300 Aegon employees have volunteered with HODR to help their community recover from the flooding.
In addition to the Aegon’s volunteer support, the Aegon Transamerica Foundation recently donated $50,000 to HODR’s rebuilding efforts in the Cedar Rapids area, through the match of a donation from the Haber family (HODR volunteers). These funds will be used toward rebuilding supplies and materials, helping the flood-affected families of Cedar Rapids get back into their homes.
