South American Soling Championship
Buenos Aires

Choppy and shifty conditions met sailors for the first day of the championship on Saturday. 14 boats went sailing and were greeted with 7-15 knots between North Easterly and easterly. 3 races were scheduled for the first day.
In race one, Pasta Achuita Team with Busch/Noceti/Ezcurra scored their first top position of the day, emulating that in the second and third race and ending day one with a perfect scoreline of three firsts

They were followed closely on day one by Glomb, Vergo and Gick and the Disco Team of Warburg, Celedoni, Smith. Argentine Yachting Federation vice president Zanetti/Antola/ Petersen was third on the first evening.

Day Two Dawned even windier and with another three races scheduled it was Team Disco whose turn it was for a good day at the office, scoring a 1-3-1 in the strong 25030 knot breeze.

Team Disco did enough to clinch the championship after another strong final day by winning the final race.
