Rolex International Womens Keelboat Championship

The opportunity to enter the Rolex International Women’s Keelboat Championship from September 22-28 at Annapolis Yacht Club, Annapolis, USA ends today on September 5.

Don't miss your chance to join the 56 teams that have already registered to compete in this regatta, which undisputedly has become the pinnacle of women's keelboat racing. The entries run the gamut of sailing ability and demographics with the youngest skipper being 17-year-old high school senior Derby Anderson from Annapolis, Md., and the oldest being 59-year-old Anne Eager of Galesville, Md. The balance of the fleet includes seven Rolex Yachtswomen of the Year, Olympic medallists, college All-Americans, and many accomplished one-design and big-boat sailors.

Lithuania's Juozas Bernotas came out on top in the Men's RS:X whilst Russia's Stefania Elfutina was triumphant in the Women's RS:X. Both sailors claim the first Abu Dhabi ISAF Sailing World Cup Final spots whilst Jock Calvert (AUS) and Joanna Sterling (AUS) picked up the Oceanic spots for the Emirati finale.

A tight group of five young Papua New Guinean (PNG) Laser sailors are stepping up their 2015 Pacific Games competition program using this week's ISAF Sailing World Cup Melbourne. PNG is one of 33 countries represented at the important Oceanic event, the largest Olympic sailing regatta in the southern hemisphere.
