Bermuda's SIMMONS Claims IOD Crown

International One Design World Championship 2005
Tønsberg Seilforening, Norway

Perennial Bermuda champion Penny SIMMONS (BER) and his crew took a bullet in the final race of the International One Design (IOD) World Championship in Tønsberg Seilforening, Norway to claim the 2005 title.
A third place in yesterday's first race added to his third bullet of the Championship gave SIMMONS victory by six points. Kevin FARRAR (USA) took second place after sailing a very consistent series whilst Bill WIDNALL (USA) claimed third in the 14 strong fleet.
