Neil Pryde RS:X

The first edition of the class rules for the Neil Pryde RS:X windsurfer board and the Notice of Race for the inaugural class event in Cadiz are now available.
The first edition of the class rules are available on the ISAF Website.

The Notice of Race for the RS:X Cadiz Race in Cadiz, Spain from 30 September-2 October is also now available on the ISAF Website and on the Neil Pryde RS:X Website. Entry forms for the event are also available on the RS:X Website.

The Cadiz Race will precede the Raceboard World Championship 2005 which are taking place in Cadiz from 3-8 October. Registration and measurement will be followed by a Neil Pryde Meeting and Party on the 30 September. 1-2 October will see meetings take place in the morning followed by racing in the afternoon, starting at 1300 hours local time.

All Neil Pryde RS:X sailors are invited to attend the event. Further information will be published shortly on the ISAF Website and the Neil Pryde RS:X Website.

Just a few days ago, ISAF President Göran PETERSSON (SWE) and Neil Pryde managing director Neil PRYDE (USA) signed the final contract for the new Olympic windsurfing equipment at the National Sailing Centre, the home of SingaporeSailing, in Singapore.

The Neil Pryde RS:X will be part of the ISAF Graded event tour and will be included in the ISAF World Sailing Rankings from the 1 January 2006. To date, for ISAF events it has been confirmed that the RS:X will be the equipment used at the 2006 ISAF World Sailing Games on Lake Neusiedl, Austria and the 2007 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Cascais, Portugal. The RS:X will make its Olympic debut at the 2008 Olympic Sailing Competiton in Qingdao, China.
