29er European Championship
Travemuende

The 29er European Championship is underway in Travemuende, Germany as part of Travemuender Woche with 52 teams from 11 nations competing. Three races in the 16 race series have been completed so far.
A number of teams have travelled virtually straight from the Worlds, which finished in Spain last week and are making their mark again on this event. Currently leading with bullets in two of the three races sailed are Tom SMEDLEY and Steve WILSON (GBR) who finished third in Spain. On equal points in second place are the new World Champions, David EVANS and Richard PEACOCK (GBR) with Finland's Lauri LEHTINEN, Miikka PENNANEN just one point behind in third.
