America's Cup
Auckland

An unfavourable forecast calling for strong winds on Monday, 28 October, forced the Race Committee to postpone Flight 3 again. It will now be attempted on Tuesday, 29 October.
Already postponed for three consecutive days, the race committee announced Sunday evening that it would postpone Flight 3 for a fourth day because Monday's forecast calls for westerly winds steadily in excess of 20 knots, with gusts into the 30s.

In an attempt to complete the seven outstanding flights, the committee has now scheduled two races, Flights 3 and 4, for Tuesday, 29 October. The first warning signal will not be fired before 10:30 am., and racing will be conducted on the alternate 12.5-mile course.

Today marked the eighth lost day of racing in 20 scheduled days, and the sixth due to strong winds.
