Disabled Sailors' Classification

On the weekend of the 7-8 of July, Cowes, Great Britain, in conjunction with the UK Two Sail Nationals Event, sailors will have the opportunity to be classified under the new IFDS Classification System.
This event will be one of the few opportunities for classification before the 2001 World Championships in October in Florida, USA. Two International Classifiers will be present: Dr Peter van Aanhold (NED) and Dr Anne Allen (USA).

A Classification fee of US$35 per sailor will be due, which will cover a sailor who is given a permanent classification up to and including the 2004 Paralympics in Athens. No additional charge will be made for sailors who will be given a temporary or review status classification and who will be subject to repeat classifications up to and including the 2004 Paralympics.

The Two Sail Nationals is being organised by the British Paralympic Sailing Group and the Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club.
