Entry Deadline Upon Us

The December 20 deadline for key events is upon us so get your entry into Sail Melbourne's Olympic & Invited Classes Regatta and Commonwealth Sailing Championships now and save money!

Entries will be accepted after this date, however they will incur a late fee. Keep in mind, if you are ranked in the top 10 ISAF World Sailing Ranking pre-December then you are exempted from the Olympic & Invited Classes Regatta entry fee, but only up to today. After that normal fees will be charged.

With well over 100 entries representing 20 nations, the Olympic & Invited Classes Regatta is promising to surpass the success of last year's event. To see who you'll be up against, go to the event website at the address and select competitor listing from the features menu.

Lithuania's Juozas Bernotas came out on top in the Men's RS:X whilst Russia's Stefania Elfutina was triumphant in the Women's RS:X. Both sailors claim the first Abu Dhabi ISAF Sailing World Cup Final spots whilst Jock Calvert (AUS) and Joanna Sterling (AUS) picked up the Oceanic spots for the Emirati finale.

A tight group of five young Papua New Guinean (PNG) Laser sailors are stepping up their 2015 Pacific Games competition program using this week's ISAF Sailing World Cup Melbourne. PNG is one of 33 countries represented at the important Oceanic event, the largest Olympic sailing regatta in the southern hemisphere.
