    An exhausted skipper was thankful to see Rhyl lifeboat volunteers when his yacht suffered complete mechanical and electrical failure.

    The crew raced to the sailor's rescue and towed the yacht back to the safety of Rhyl Harbour.

    Dan Webster is running the Great North Run 10 times to commemorate each of the lives his great grandfather, Frank Dalton, helped save.

    Frank was a lifeboat volunteer at Scarborough who tragically lost his life saving the lives of 10 crewmen.
