SRC assessors 

The SRC (Short Range Certificate) assessor course is for anyone wanting to teach the RYA's marine radio short range certificate course.

In order to attend the assessor course candidates must hold the VHF short range certificate themselves and already be an RYA instructor in another discipline such as shorebased, cruising, powerboat or dinghy. Some other specialist groups may also be considered.

SRC assessor courses are organised on a regional basis. A list of courses and regional organisers can be downloaded from the link on the right. Please contact the regional organiser to book a place on a course or find out about future courses.

NOTE: Membership of the RYA (or the National Governing Body for your boating activity in your country of residence) is required in order for you to qualify or revalidate as an RYA instructor.
