The 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (the World Championships for equestrian sport) will see over sixty countries compete across the eight FEI disciplines for World Champion titles. The World Games (WEG) is the biggest equestrian Championships for the sports outside of the Olympic and Paralympic Games; this year sees it hosted in Normandy, France, from 23 August – 7 September 2014, spread across three locations: Caen, Sartilly and Haras du Pin.
Great Britain will be sending teams in all eight disciplines – the three Olympic sports of dressage, eventing and jumping, and one Paralympic discipline, para-equestrian dressage, alongside our non-Olympic disciplines of driving, endurance, reining and vaulting.
Great Britain's Equestrian teams are backed by UK Sport Lottery funding through the BEF World Class Programme and are supported by Dodson and Horrell, Land Rover, Mears Country Jackets, NAF, Nuumed, Point Two Equine, Tagg Equestrian and Toggi.
