Once the fleet sets sail on 20 November, the site will display the latest yacht positions and Atlantic weather, enabling families, friends, supporters and media to follow the progress of the 230 yachts as they cross to St. Lucia. New sharper maps, satellite and weather overlays will enhance the experience for everyone following the ARC.
The 20th edition of the ARC starts from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain on Sunday 20 November at 1240 hours local time, and finishes at Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. With the prizegiving due for Saturday 17 December. The 2,700 nautical mile passage will take most of the yachts between 16 and 21 days. There are 230 entries in this year's ARC.
