English Heritage

English Heritage (EH) preserves aspects of the built environment, complementing the work of Natural England which protects the natural environment. It also advises the government on policy and in cases such as registering listed buildings and scheduled ancient monuments.

EH is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Culture, Media & Sport.
