HireTexas is the first stop for recruiting at the university. A collaboration of the 17 campus career-services offices, HireTexas provides information about on-campus interviews, career fairs, internship-posting services and résumé referrals. Students, alumni and employers come together at AccessUT. Employers post openings for jobs and internships, and only UT students and alumni may view listings. Whether you plan to post jobs, screen résumés online or network with alumni, Texas Exes Career Services can help you with your hiring needs and put you in touch with entry-level, midlevel or seasoned candidates.

Training & Executive Education

The Center for Lifelong Engineering Education is a leader in training and professional development. Subjects include aerospace, architectural, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, mechanical, petroleum and software engineering as well as engineering business and management.

Texas Executive Education at the McCombs School of Business offers innovative and timely programs that give business professionals the insights and skills to lead, think strategically and manage change. The AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center embraces and extends the school's mission. Two blocks from the McCombs School of Business, the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center is destined to become the new gateway to the university, welcoming executives, alumni, prospective students and visitors with a full-service hotel featuring meeting rooms and classroom facilities.

The Division of Continuing and Innovative Education offers credit and noncredit courses, services and programs for people who seek educational and enrichment options outside traditional campus offerings. Enrollment is open to the public. The Joe C. Thompson Conference Center provides conference facilities, services and programs for educational and personal enrichment purposes.

Volunteer Engagement

There are many ways for corporate leaders to increase their involvement with the university -- as mentors to students, as guest lecturers or speakers, through service on advisory boards and more. UT has many advisory groups, whose members are nominated by their peers to serve the university in a variety of ways.

Such groups include the Development Board, which works with the president to increase private support to the university; advisory councils, which focus on the priorities of individual colleges, schools and units; and the 1883 Council, a small group of up-and-coming alumni leaders.
