How to Use Quick Edit Sheets

Quick Edit Sheets are an easy way to make changes to CPMs and other frequently used settings directly on your Dashboard. You can quickly change settings for line items and different ad sources for an ad unit. Line items types include Guaranteed (G), Network (N), MoPub Marketplace (M), Promotional (P), Non-Guaranteed (NG), or Backfill (B).

Change line item CPMs and other settings

You can easily change CPMs and other important settings for any line item directly in your Dashboard using the Quick Edit feature.  These sheets offer a shortcut to edit the most frequently used settings for each of your line items.

To make these changes:

  1. Navigate to the “Edit” column in the Ad Source Breakdown table and select the pencil icon next to the line item you wish to update.

  2. Change CPMs and other key data for that line item in the sheet.  The fields here reflect the most frequently used fields for that line item type.  For example, for a Guaranteed line item, you will see budgeting fields.  For a Network line item, you can change the Network CPM, frequency caps, and allocation percentages.

  3. Save your changes.  If you wish to make changes to fields not shown in the sheet, select the shortcut link to the specific ad source in the lower left.

Change your ad unit waterfall and CPMs

You can also easily change CPMs and re-order the “waterfall” for a specific ad unit using the Quick Edit function on the MoPub Dashboard.  Your ad unit waterfall is the order in which your ad sources are called to fill each impression for that ad unit.

To make these changes:

  1. Filter to the ad unit you would like to change.  If you have many ad units, you can shorten this list by filtering to a specific app first.

  2. Navigate to the “Edit” column in the Ad Source Breakdown table and select the pencil icon next to the line item you wish to update.

  3. Save your changes.  You can also jump to the ad source’s detail page to edit the full list of additional settings.
