Para-Rowers kick off World Cup in France
The GB Rowing Team's para-rowers were first in action at the season's second world cup, taking place in Aiguebelette in France from Thursday evening until Sunday and featuring 22 British crews.

The youngest member of the GB Para Table Tennis Team’s Performance Squad, Megan Shackleton, who won her first individual medal in Romania last week, heads a team of young players from the GB Pathway Squad competing in the PTT Spanish Open in El Prat de Llobregat this week (June 20-22).

Young GB squad takes four medals in Romania
A squad of young players from the GB Para Table Tennis Team has won four medals in the in the Romania International Open in Cluj with 15 year old Megan Shackleton taking bronze in the women’s class 2-5 Singles, Paisley’s Martin Perry (20) taking bronze in the men’s class 6 Singles and bronze in the men’s class 6-7 team event with 15 year old Billy Shilton, and 21 year old Welshman Thomas Matthews combining with Martin Barbierik from Slovakia to take bronze in the men’s class 1-2 Team event.

After polling 51 per cent of the public vote, Great Britain's Paralympic champion Aled Davies has been named the IPC Athlete of the Month for May for breaking the discus F42 world record.

Trio of British wheelchair tennis players set for Wimbledon
Australian Open and Roland Garros champion Jordanne Whiley is among three Brits on the Tennis Foundation’s Performance Programme set to contest the Wheelchair Tennis Doubles event at The Championships, Wimbledon this year after the British No. 1 and British No.2 Lucy Shuker gained direct entry for the women’s Doubles with their respective partners.
