| MARLOW SUPPORT PHILON PARPOTTAS |
 In 2014 Marlow Ropes are supporting driver Philon Parpottas. Philon will be using the Marlow Dynaline Max which takes the wire rope replacement concept of Dynaline a stage further by adding Marlow’s "Max" super pre-stretching process. Super pre-stretched rope enables the user to have a longer length of winch rope on the drum for a given break load. In addition, the higher break load for a given diameter offers a higher factor of safety. Dynaline MAX is manufactured using Dyneema® SK78 fibre.
The first of his events this year was the annual 4x4 Croatia Trophy last month. Despite several days of engine trouble, a serious collision with another competitor and major fuelling issues, Philon and James still managed to achieve a top 10 spot, which was a really great achievement! The Buzz truck is spending some time in the garage with only a few days before the King of the Glens! King of the Glens will take place this week in the Griffin Forest near Aberfeldy in Perthshire. The event will feature a varied mix of terrain - from tracks to boulder fields, forestry trails to wild open moorland. On this tough 25mile course, reliability and strategy will be more important than out and out speed! Maxxis King of the Glens 2014 will take place on 22-24th May 2014.
