Individual: One person on the policy.

Couple: An individual and his or her partner provided they live together. A partner would include a civil partner.

Family: A couple provided they live together and their dependent children (which can include fostered or adopted children) who are 17 years of age or under at the date of buying this policy and are either in full time education or living with them;

A single parent and their dependent children (which can include fostered or adopted children) who are 17 years of age or under at the date of buying this policy and are either in full time education or living with them.

Group: Up to 9 people. All members of the group must travel together.

For single trip policies, all travellers must be travelling to the same destination for the same duration.
