Join the RYA's Legal and Cruising Managers to hear about how the RYA is representing your interests and to ask them your questions

The RYA Head of Legal and Government Affairs, Gus Lewis and the RYA Cruising Manager, Stuart Carruthers will be hosting two evenings for recreational boaters in the South West.

1st April 2014 – Royal Western Yacht Club – Plymouth
2nd April 2014 – Mylor Yacht Club – Mylor Churchtown, Falmouth

During the evenings, the RYA team will explain the RYA’s work to promote and represent recreational boating interests to Government, its agencies and the EU Commission to ensure that they take full account of our activities when balancing competing interests and drafting legislation.

Open to all

All recreational boaters in the area are invited to attend.  The talks will cover the current issues that the RYA is engaged in on your behalf. It is also your opportunity to pose questions to the team on matters that affect you.

It is not a requirement to be a member of the RYA or a member of the club hosting the event to attend – if you have a friend who is not currently a member this might provide an ideal opportunity to tell them why they should join.

Places at these events are free of charge but are limited in number. Details of how to book your place will appear in next month’s Cruising News.
