Gallagher Heath to become Arthur J.Gallagher
New name, same excellent service
For well over 30 years Heath Lambert — and latterly Gallagher Heath — has been a name familiar to the RYA as its long-term and trusted provider of bespoke insurance solutions for its affiliated sailing and yachting clubs as well as recognised training centres.
In that time, the insurance needs of RYA members, Clubs and Training Centres have evolved, in line with both the changing way society views risk and the increasing regulatory rules that dictate how it has to be managed.
And it is the insurance broker’s role, as a trusted adviser, to ensure the programmes it designs and secures to protect customers from different exposures develop alongside those shifting demands.
So, just as we always have strived to make sure our products and ratings keep pace with your developments, today we are keen to share with you news of Gallagher Heath’s own evolution as it embarks on an exciting new chapter in its history.
From 06 May 2014, Gallagher Heath will become Arthur J. Gallagher across the UK in order to create a common identity to encompass all our regional commercial insurance businesses. These businesses have grown exponentially through three years of strategic acquisition activity, without ever losing sight of the individual needs of our clients.
It began with Arthur J. Gallagher’s acquisition of Heath Lambert in May 2011 and underwent another transformational period of growth last November when Arthur J. Gallagher purchased Giles Insurance Brokers. Together we have created a top three UK commercial retail insurance broker, having rapidly expanded our footprint to stretch across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Island, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
And now it is time to combine those two high-performing businesses. Together, we hope to create and deliver even better propositions to our customers due to the complementary nature of the industry specialisms and areas of expertise that now sit under one roof, one brand.
But what will this mean for RYA affiliated Sailing Clubs and Recognised Training Centres?
First and foremost, despite the change in name, Arthur J. Gallagher will continue to be the provider of exclusive facilities for Sailing Clubs and Training Centres backed by exactly the same high level of customer-focused service.
You can look forward to the same prompt and knowledgeable response to enquiries, the same access to cost-effective and appropriately designed insurance programmes and the same individual approach to managing and mitigating the risks you face.
In fact, you will see and experience very little difference other than the visual change from the Gallagher Heath brand to the Arthur J. Gallagher brand. New logos, new letterhead, telephones will be answered Arthur J. Gallagher and emails will have a different address. But otherwise it’s very much business as usual.
