Help and accessibility statement

We have made every effort to ensure this site is accessible to all. We have aimed to make this site adhere to the following guidelines:-

  • XHTML 1.0 Transitional
  • CSS 2.0
  • WAI AA

In order to validate our code, we have used Bobby 5.0.

"Bobby is a comprehensive web accessibility software tool designed to help expose and repair barriers to accessibility and encourage compliance with existing accessibility guidelines. Bobby tests for compliance with government standards, including the U.S. Government's Section 508. It offers prioritized suggestions based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines provided by the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Access Initiative. Bobby allows developers to test web pages and generate summary reports highlighting critical accessibility issues before posting content to live servers."

This site utilises Macromedia Flash in some places, if you cannot see the flash movies you can download the player from the Macromedia website.

Access Keys.

As a way of assisting you around the site access keys have been setup on all major links and can easily be activated by using the keys below.

If you do not know how to use an access key follow the instructions below:-

Browsers for PCs

  • Firefox 2+: Hold down the ALT and SHIFT keys and then press the number of the access key
  • Safari: Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key
  • Chrome: Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key
  • Opera 9+: Hold SHIFT and the ESC key and the list of access keys will appear.
  • Internet Explorer 5+: Hold down the ALT key, press the access key, release all and press ENTER

Browsers for Macs

  • Firefox: Hold down the CTRL and OPTION keys, press the number of the access key
  • Safari: Hold down the CTRL and OPTION keys, press the number of the access key
  • Chrome: Hold down the CTRL and OPTION keys, press the number of the access key
  • Opera 9+: Hold SHIFT and the ESC key and the list of access keys will appear.
