Noonsite
aims to provide a one-stop website featuring essential information on all matters of interest to sailors planning an offshore voyage anywhere in the world, whether already underway or still in the preparatory stages

All the information on the site is available free to users. Simply use the top navigational bar to access country information or any of our general pages (including piracy, cruising information, communications etc.); login to add your own comments directly to pages. And don't forget to give us feedback from the area you are currently cruising.

Noonsite began as a culmination of Jimmy Cornell's books (World Cruising Handbook and World Cruising Routes) and his work on the global cruising scene for the last quarter of a century. It has since grown extensively thanks to constant updates from cruisers using the site, new cruising guides, and organisations and magazines who provide updates such as the RCC Pilotage Foundation, OCC, SSCA, Cruising Compass, Sail-World.com, Caribbean Compass, World Cruising Club and Cruisers Network Online.

Noonsite's main objective is to provide cruising sailors with comprehensive information regarding essential marine facilities in any port visited by yachts. Basic details of specialist companies are listed so that sailors may contact those that they are interested in. Companies listed are not necessarily recommended by noonsite and noonsite declines any responsibility for unsatisfactory services provided by any company listed on this website. Unfavourable reports on such companies may result in their removal from the site.

Most popular pages: The Noonsite Piracy pages are the most visited, with up to date reports on incidents around the world, suggestions and services for improving security as well as a place for making contacts with other sailors planning the Red Sea transit.

Countries : All cruising destinations are covered (currently 197 countries and 2145 ports) with information on clearance formalities, visa requirements, fees, weather, special events and other facts needed by visiting sailors. Also featured are details of repair facilities as well as marine and shore services for every major port visited by cruising boats.

Get involved! If you have any news, port updates or cruising reports we want to know. Click the contact link at the bottom of any page or contact us directly at noonsite@noonsite.com. Your contributions will be personally acknowledged.
