It should be race on for the final day of the Youth Olympic Sailing Competition with rain bringing breeze to Lake Jinniu.

The EUROSAF Youth Sailing, European Championship reached its conclusion is Gdynia, Poland, with a victory for the host nations in the Nations' Cup, Team Trophy by one point from Team GBR. Both teams win three gold medals in the process, amongst fierce competition from other nations.

Sunday 24 August will be used for the final races of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Sailing Competition after light winds, a freak storm and further light breeze forced a third day of postponements.

It will be a night of repairs in the pitlane for three teams, ahead of the event officially opening to the public on Saturday as part of the Cardiff Harbour Festival.

A Level 2 Technical Course for Participation oriented coaches was successfully delivered at the Ceylon Motor Yacht Club in Sri Lanka from 11 - 16 August, 2014, with 13 national coaches present from the Yachting Association of Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan coach candidates represented the Ceylon Motor Yacht Club (CMYC), Royal Colombo Yacht club (RCYC), Navy sailing Club and the Mirissa Sailing Club (MSC).
