Tumblr Install Guide

StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for Tumblr.

Tumblr

  1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter to get your StatCounter code.

    These instructions will be repeated after you've created an account and added your first project.
  2. Copy the StatCounter code.
  3. Log into your Tumblr account (opens in a new window) with your username and password.
  4. Click on your site name at the top.

  5. Click "Customize".

  6. Click "Edit HTML".

  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the code.

  8. Paste your StatCounter code directly before the tag.

  9. Click "Update Preview".

  10. Click "Save".

  11. Click "Appearance".

  12. Click "Close".

StatCounter is now active on your Tumblr site and will immediately begin recording visitor information.
