Dries Buytaert Chief Technology Officer

Dries Buytaert is the original creator and project lead for the Drupal open source web publishing and collaboration platform. Buytaert serves as president of the Drupal Association, a non-profit organization formed to help Drupal flourish. He is also co-founder and chief technology officer of Acquia, a venture-backed software company that offers products and services for Drupal. Dries is also a co-founder of Mollom, a web service that helps you identify content quality and, more importantly, helps you stop website spam. A native of Belgium, Buytaert holds a PhD in computer science and engineering from Ghent University and a Licentiate Computer Science (MsC) from the University of Antwerp. Thomas Erickson Chief Executive Officer

Tom is a founding director of Acquia, working with co-founders Dries Buytaert and Jay Batson to develop the company’s open source commercialization model and recruit the early team members. Tom joined Acquia as CEO in 2009, following the sale of Tele Atlas to TomTom, where he had been Chief Products Officer.

As he has done throughout a 30+ year-career in enterprise software, Tom is focused on driving customer success and business strategy at Acquia, Tom also leads the unique blending of open source, digital agency and enterprise software backgrounds, fostering a culture which he perpetuates through extensive travel to the 11 countries and 3 US offices from which Acquia currently operates.

Bill Sorenson Chief Financial Officer

Bill oversees all finance functions for Acquia, including reporting, planning, treasury, and investor relations. He previously was the CFO of Qlik Technologies, a leader in business intelligence, where he drove the company through its IPO and helped grow it from $118 million to almost $400 million in revenue. Bill also lead finance operations for major mobile and media companies as CFO, at EMI Music Publishing and the Bertlesmann eCommerce Group, which funded Napster, as well as at several early stage start ups. Prior to that he served as senior VP of global finance at News Corporation.

Tom Wentworth Chief Marketing Officer

Tom is Acquia's Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for go-to-market strategy, demand generation, branding, positioning, and communications. He has spent most of his 18 year career in the web content management space, most recently at Ektron, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to Ektron, Tom spent over 10 years at Interwoven (now HP/Autonomy) where he held a variety of leadership positions in sales and marketing.

Tom holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dennis Morgan Sr. VP of Finance

Dennis Morgan is a digital media and software executive with more than 20 years of experience in finance and corporate/business development. Prior to joining Acquia, he served as the CFO of four venture-backed technology companies in New York City: Buddy Media, EPAC Technologies, Panther Express and Vibrant Media. He helped lead Buddy Media through its explosive growth and sale to Salesforce.com for $745 million.

Prior to his CFO roles, he was Vice President of Corporate Finance at Yahoo in Sunnyvale, CA. At Yahoo, he led the corporate finance efforts for more than $5 billion in acquisitions and business development deals, earning a team Superstar award for his work on Yahoo’s newspaper consortium deal. Michael Cayer General Counsel

Michael Cayer is general counsel for Acquia. He previously served as general counsel at BladeLogic, where he managed the company’s IPO process and eventual sale to BMC Software for more than $870 million. He has held the position of general counsel at several other public and private companies.

Vincent Rerolle Sr. VP, Corporate Development

Vincent is responsible for M&A and technology alliances.

Prior to Acquia, Vincent spent 6 years in commercialization of open source software, as President of MontaVista, a leading Embedded Linux vendor, and as GM Linux at Wind River (acquired by Intel), where he also served as SVP Corporate Development. At Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP), he helped drive the growth and transformation of the company through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. At McKinsey, he focused on high tech and strategic use of information technology to transform businesses.

Vincent has an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in CS From ENST Paris.

Tim Bertrand Sr. VP, Worldwide Sales

Tim came to Acquia from OpenSpan (a Matrix Partners company) where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Sales & Channels, which included managing many Enterprise relationships and all worldwide ISV/OEM, Reseller, Global System Integrator and Public Sector relationships. Prior to joining OpenSpan, Tim served in various leadership roles including direct, indirect and Public Sector sales roles at Systinet Corporation (acquired by Mercury Interactive), Cape Clear Software (acquired by Workday) and Silverstream Software (acquired by Novell).

At Acquia, Tim oversees the Global sales and pre-sales organizations.

Mike Stankus Sr. VP, Worldwide Account Management, Sales Ops & Strategic Solutions

Mike is a 25 year veteran of the information technology industry, holding executive leadership positions at CompuServe and Sapient. Mike has also founded three companies including S&H Loyalty Solutions which was sold to Pay by Touch in 2006 for in excess of $100 million.

At Acquia, Mike plays a key part within the worldwide sales organization overseeing the company's worldwide account management team and sales operations team. Mike also spearheads a strategic cross-functional effort, which brings strategic solutions to Acquia's largest customers.

Chris Comparato Sr. VP, Customer Solutions

Chris comes to us with an extensive background in leadership roles at service-oriented software and consulting organizations. Chris was the SVP Worldwide Customer Solutions for Endeca (recently acquired by Oracle) where he led several client-facing functions including consulting, solution enablement, education, and customer care. He often wore numerous hats including the Executive Sponsor for Endeca’s strategic partner initiatives, spearheading Endeca’s initial penetration into the Enterprise space. He also championed Endeca’s strategic partner initiatives, facilitated its initial penetration into the Enterprise space, and re-shaped its client base in the West Region. Chris Brookins Sr. VP, Engineering

Chris joined Acquia from Vertical Communications, where he managed engineering for several IP PBX and call center products, and lead a large adoption of Scrum. Prior to Vertical, Chris managed engineering at Stylus Innovation, a telephony toolkit startup that was sold to Artisoft. At work, he is passionate about user and developer experiences and facilitating high performance teams. He is the proud father of 2 boys and a very amateur photographer, cook, and tennis player. Chris earned his BS in computer science from Lehigh University.

Ray Grady Sr. VP, Commerce Solutions

Ray comes to us with an extensive background in e commerce. Ray helped start and was a member of the Executive Management team of Acquity Group. During his tenure he built the go to market strategy and sales organization that resulting in a CAGR of over 40%. He was part of the road show team that took Acquity Group public in 2012 and helped sell the company to Accenture in 2013.

Prior to Acquity Group, Ray was a VP and Principal at marchFIRST. He started his career at Bottomline Technologies as a project manager. Ray holds a BA in Political Science from The University of New Hampshire.

Jess Iandiorio VP, Product Marketing

Jess Iandiorio is the VP of Product Marketing and is responsible for words. The words Acquia uses to convey how we’re solving the toughest digital experience challenges for the biggest brands in the world. She’s spent 10 years in the tech industry focused on a variety of technologies such as CRM, Agile Business Intelligence, Website Search, eCommerce Experience Management, and now focuses on cloud-enabled delivery of extraordinary digital experiences. Jess is responsible for evangelizing Drupal and Acquia's solutions globally. She most recently worked at Endeca (Acquired for 1B+ by Oracle in 2011), and Forrester Research.

Jess holds a BS in Organizational Communication, Learning & Design from Ithaca College.

Adriana Zeman VP, Consulting Services

Bringing over 17 years of experience in client service and delivery management, Adriana has led organizations in healthcare, consumer brands, technology and global financial services to develop and execute impactful digital business initiatives. Since joining Acquia in 2012, Adriana focuses on maturing Acquia’s Consulting Services through process and tool innovation, team enablement and development of strategies for service line expansion. Prior to Acquia, Adriana was at Roundarch Isobar where she managed delivery operations for a large portfolio of accounts engaging in enterprise-wide digital business initiatives, including CMS platform migrations. Joe Wykes VP, Global Channels

Joe joined Acquia in March 2012. He came from Percussion Software where he most recently served as President. During his tenure at the web content management software company, he led the company’s expansion into the enterprise market, building strategic partnerships with systems integrators, digital marketing agencies and technology companies. Prior to that Joe ran Worldwide Sales and Alliances for Percussion based out of San Francisco and before that was the Managing Director of Percussion's EMEA operation, again driving record sales in that market.

Bryan House VP, Global Accounts

Bryan joined Acquia in 2008 to run product marketing. He came to Acquia from EMC, where he managed product and outbound marketing for Documentum’s knowledge worker business. Prior to EMC, Bryan worked in product marketing and product management in the social business and collaboration technology space, after brewing beer professionally for seven years. Bryan lives in the Boston area and is an ardent Red Sox fan, he earned his MBA at Harvard.

Michael Meyers VP, Large Scale Drupal

Michael E. Meyers is an Emmy-nominated technologist and entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience managing and leading local and globally distributed teams. His most recent startup, RHO Ventures-backed NowPublic.com, pioneered citizen journalism, user-generated content, and crowdsourcing. As CTO of The Clarity Digital Group, which acquired NowPublic in 2009, Michael led Examiner.com’s migration to open source technology, launching the first Drupal-based top-100 Internet property.
