Development of an offshore wind farm consisting of up to 325 wind turbine generators and associated infrastructure, with an installed capacity of 1200MW, located 43km from the Suffolk Coast. Part of a develop of approximately 7200MW of wind capacity off the coast of East Anglia, known as Zone 5 under the Crown Estate Round 3 Offshore Wind Farm Licensing Arrangements.A joint venture between Scottish Power Renewables and Vattenfall Wind Power.

The Examining Authority issued its recommendation to the Secretary of State on 18 March 2014. A decision will be published within 3 months. Please note that the Examining Authority’s recommendation will also be made available at that point.
What happens next
A decision on the application for a development consent order for East Anglia ONE Offshore Windfarm was taken on 17 June 2014 and has now been issued. The statement of reasons can be viewed here.
The period for legal challenge is defined in s118 of the Planning Act 2008. Further information about legal challenge can be found in the letter sent to all interested parties accompanying the statement of reasons.
