I'm unable to answer people's questions on videos because there isn't a reply option in the comment section and even if I'm able to find it in safari or in the built in mail app, I have to search for hours looking for someone reply to me because there's not a link in my inbox. It tells me that someone replied to me and what they said, but it doesn't allow me to reply there. Plus the app reduces quality of video and audio to the point where sometimes I can't even recognize faces or voices. Quality changes back and forty quickly, sounding and looking awful.
Since I've posted this review initially, it has gotten worse. The app can barely recognize which way my phone is facing, and will randomly switch from landscape to portrait repeatedly without me moving. It also does not respond to my touch half of the time, not allowing me to like videos, view comments, or press play on a paused video.
Eh
You guys need to fix things instead of adding things that we don't need just to make this app look "pretty".
One big thing is adding annotations. You have captions, but no annotations.
Another HUGE problem I have is the video "not being available on this platform". I try to watch nightcore videos and half of my favorites aren't available for some reason. Fix this please.
Also, please make it so we can still listen to the video and exit the app. That would make my life so much easier.
One more thing, sometimes comments don't show up and I have no idea what people are talking about in a conversation because some comments are just blank. It has the person's name above the comment but the comment itself isn't there. Please fix all of these.

Obviously people have been complaining about the "not available on this platform" issue. Beforehand if the video wasn't available for mobile devices, it wouldn't appear in your search results. It's really annoying trying to watch videos when that message always pops up. Also, my BIGGEST problem with this update would be the links below each video. I really liked how if someone linked a friends channel, or a different video, or their vlog channel it would easily pop up within the app. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. It's really annoying having to manually find the links they give you and switch back to YT from safari. Lastly, I don't think I'll ever be completely satisfied till you remove the pause button in the middle of the video.
