Receive up to £5000 with Get Set to Plan Your Legacy

In partnership with the Department for Education, Get Set has launched a new initiative – Get Set to Plan Your Legacy.

Schools in England are invited to apply for grants of up to £5000 to help them deliver activities that maximise the legacy of the London 2012 Games and ensure that the inspiration and magic of last summer continues to motivate young people.

Successful applicants will be part of a small national group of teachers passionate about the legacy of the London 2012 Games and the difference that teaching and learning through the Olympic and Paralympic Values can make. They will also participate in a national induction session, designed to improve the quality of the programme, catalyse existing legacy plans and enable teachers to work more effectively in partnership with other schools.

The deadline for all applications is on 4pm Friday 18 October 2013.
