New suppliers who are awarded a contract with Natural England will be required to provide a D&B number to Natural England. A D&B DUNS numberexternal link is a unique nine-digit sequence recognised as the universal standard for identifying and keeping track of businesses worldwide and it enables the UK Government to easily identify and learn about your company.

Contracts Finderexternal link is a free online service for finding public sector contract opportunities and viewing contract awards and contract documents. You can subscribe to email alerts to receive updates on existing or new items.

Improving opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

SMEs play an important role in delivering UK economic growth and prosperity. The Government has set a target for 25% of central government spend to go to SMEs by 2015. We are committed to supporting this target and encourage SMEs to bid for our contracts.
