This Booklet provides information for women regarding the non-surgical and surgical treatment options for Stress Urinary Incontinence. It discusses the intended benefits and risks associated with the insertion of synthetic vaginal tape.
The Booklet contains a consent form to support women take fully informed decisions about their care and treatment, in partnership with their surgeon, supported by evidence based information they can study in their own time, tailored to their needs and that other treatment options are carefully considered first.
Health Boards may have developed their own leaflets but this Booklet provides the minimum information that must be provided to women considering treatment options for this condition.
