Offshore Renewable Energy Map 

The Crown Estate map below shows the areas of seabed in the UK which it has leased for offshore renewable energy development.

The Crown Estate (TCE) has the rights to lease the UK seabed for renewable energy projects. This began with TCE's involvement in offshore wind in 2000 and now includes 8 GW of capacity in Round 1 and 2 offshore wind farms which are already in operation, under construction or in development.

Since then, TCE have also leased a number of areas of seabed for wave and tidal projects, and are also involved in natural gas storage and the capture and storage of CO2.

The map below shows all the renewable energy sites which have been leased by TCE in the UK.
