HAVEN KNOX-JOHNSTON COMPETITION WINNERS 2013
Announced at the Southampton Boat Show by Keith Lovett it was a pleasure to meet the winners of the Haven Knox-Johnstons "Your Boat Immortalised by Stephen Lees" competition, Julian & Sue Grieff of Cowes.

The couple won an invitation to join me at my 'Gallery on the Cobbles' in Lymington to paint a customised interpretation of their boat on canvas to the value of £500, followed by lunch at the Blue Bird Restaurant.
ROUND THE ISLAND RACE - ISLE OF WIGHT 1 JUNE 2013
As their guest at the Round the Island Race I would like to say a big thank you for an inspiring and fun weekend to Keith and Sonia @ Haven Knox-Johnston - marine insurers and race partner. A great result for Sir Ben Ainslie and his team trouncing the existing multi hull RTIR record by 16 minutes.
AUGUST 2012
It was a great honour to be asked by Amy from Henry Lloyd - sponsors of Olympic sailor Ben Ainslie to produce a piece of artwork celebrating his success of winning his 4th gold medal at this years Olympics.The painting was presented to Ben at a reception following his triumphant, crowd cheering procession through his home town of Lymington on an open top bus, organised by Town Mayor Jacqueline England.
