Easily one of the best days to visit

The opening day of the Show is a must-see, got to be there event! You’ll be among the first to see the unveiling of exciting new boats and the latest industry technology, gadgets and gizmos.

A well known celebrity (we won’t spoil the surprise) will get proceedings underway in the opening ceremony, so make sure you’re in a good position to grab a photo to show family and friends. Who knows, you may get ‘papped’ yourself, as the press will be there adding to the buzz, and make sure you keep your eyes open for one of the many boating celebs who’ll be in attendance. You could get an autograph or, if you’re lucky, a picture of you with one of your heroes.

What’s great about the opening day is that you get to spend more face time with the exhibitors themselves. Later days can get quite busy, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet an exhibitor, ask questions and perhaps even try out one of their products.

Events

Remember, on opening day, some exhibitors will also be hosting their own opening events and offering preview specials, so it’s well worth being there to see if you could catch an exclusive bargain. Sunseeker, Princess and Fairline have previously set a high standard with their own glamorous events and celebrity guests.
