Portchester Sailing Club is located in the upper reaches of Portsmouth Harbour, adjacent to Portchester Castle. Founded in 1928, the club caters for those who sail a dinghy or yacht as well as those who fish or have a motorboat. Our Club activities are all supported by a great social programme and whatever your level of interest in sailing, leisure boating or fishing, Portchester Sailing Club has something to offer you.

The Club is a recognised RYA Training Centre, a Volvo Champion Club and a recognised RYA OnBoard Centre which aims to introduce sailing to the wider community, specifically our local school children as well as having gained Clubmark status with the Angling Trust. We offer courses for both adults and children with a range of dinghy courses as well as powerboat and first aid training. In the winter we run RYA theory courses at Day skipper and Yachtmaster levels. The club owns a range of craft for use by club members for both training and recreational purposes. We welcome volunteers who are able to help with instruction in any capacity.

We hope you will find the information you need on our website. If you need more details or find mistakes that need correcting please let us know.
