As a Facebook Mobile software engineer, you will optimize the efficiency and reliability of the Facebook experience of hundreds of millions of users. If you enjoy spotting and fixing wasted CPU cycles, identifying inefficiencies in server-client interactions, or shaving bytes from binary files, we're looking for you. Mobile engineers work with an array of performance, build, and testing tools and integrate open-source technologies with in-house infrastructure. If you enjoy measuring your impact in terabytes of saved bandwidth or like pushing performance graphs down and to the right, you'll be in friendly company on the mobile team.

Responsibilities
- Understand, instrument, and optimize the web and/or application experience of hundreds of mobile devices
- Suggest new approaches to hard problems at the core of a high quality mobile product experience
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologies for our mobile platform
Requirements
- BSc / MSc Computer Science or related field
- Experience building software that integrates with the web
