Bridge 8 Hub CIC is a Social Enterprise and is Scotland’s/Edinburgh first canal based outdoor activity centre and is located in the South West Edinburgh. We are only 20 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre.

Bridge 8 Hub is the ideal choice for your group’s urban based adventure. We have providing outdoor experiences for groups to; Scouts and guides, youth groups, clubs and charities, schools and colleges and corporate teams. Our expert team of instructors brings a wealth of experience in delivering packages to all types of groups and individuals. They will align the experience with your desired outcomes, whether they are educational, team-building, developmental, or just pure fun.

Our fundamental principle is to ensure that anyone wishing to access the outdoors has the opportunity to do so.  As a Social Enterprise any financial surplus generated is reinvested into the charitable activities of our community.


Our instructors and volunteers are PVG checked. They will ensure sessions are exciting, fun, safe and challenging. All instructors are fully accredited in the activities they deliver, holding National Governing Body Qualifications. Our instructors use their experience and judgement to plan and run activities and sessions safely according to the needs of the group or individual.
