P&M; Loads Two Ships in Three days in St Thomas
Peters & May's Loadmaster team secured 24 yachts to two separate vessels in St Thomas, USVI last week, and will return to the island to load a third ship later this week.
The HHL Volga which departed on Friday will call in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and Genoa, Italy, while the M/V Claude Desgagnes departed St Thomas over the weekend and will call in Freeport, Bahamas before discharging the remaining yachts in Newport, Rhode Island.
P&M has noticed a significant upturn in activity from the Caribbean this Spring, which may be partly due to a rise in the general market, but speculates that it is more likely due to regaining market share that had been temporarily attracted to other providers.
