Day Skipper Motor Theory and Practical Combined

The Day Skipper Motor Theory and Practical Combined includes RYA Day Skipper Theory and RYA Day Skipper Practical. This a consecutive 8 day course. The first 2 days will involve Day Skipper Theory, the next 4 days will involve Day Skipper Practical and the final 2 days over the weekend will involve Day Skipper Theory.

The Day Skipper Theory course is a comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers and is an essential preparation for our RYA Day Skipper Practical course.

 Course Objective: You will be able to navigate around familiar waters by day 

 Course Assessment: Two exam papers

 Prerequisite: RYA Powerboat Level 2 or Helmsman Certificate

We have experienced and qualified instructors to cover all the essentials to navigate, berth and manoeuvre your boat. This course can also help you get the best from your modern electronic aids such as GPS and radar.
