Day Skipper Motor Theory and Practical Combined

The Day Skipper Motor Theory and Practical Combined includes RYA Day Skipper Theory and RYA Day Skipper Practical. This a consecutive 8 day course. The first 2 days will involve Day Skipper Theory, the next 4 days will involve Day Skipper Practical and the final 2 days over the weekend will involve Day Skipper Theory.

The Day Skipper Theory course is a comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers and is an essential preparation for our RYA Day Skipper Practical course.

 Course Objective: You will be able to navigate around familiar waters by day 

 Course Assessment: Two exam papers

 Prerequisite: RYA Powerboat Level 2 or Helmsman Certificate
