Gift Voucher - Sailing coastal taster

Try sailing Gift Voucher / experience day from Brighton, sussex.

This sailing taster will get you on the water off the beautiful Brighton coast! These sessions are run on our Sigma 8s (8 metre yachts) with qualified RYA instructors to give you an introduction to sailing.

You will learn some of the sailing basics and have a go at helming (driving).

What to Bring? You may get wet -we provide specialist clothing but please bring some extra clothing.

Gift Voucher - Learn to Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Gift Voucher / Experience day - Brighton , Sussex

Learn to Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) on the ideal shallow, sheltered location of Hove Lagoon with the option to SUP on the sea if conditions are suitable.

Using a large style surfboard, which you stand on, and a paddle to propel yourself along, this is an extremely versatile sport that enables you to enjoy being on the water whatever you age or ability.

If you have never been on a board, no worries! Our start Stand Up Paddle Boarding course will give you the skills to get up and going in no time. The session will introduce you to the exciting world of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, you will be given an introduction to the equipment which will be used and shown how to: Kneel and stand up on the board, basic turns, self rescue, safety techniques and paddle techniques.  The course is 2 hours, and once completed you will receive a BSUPA “Ready to Ride” card, which allows you to hire at accredited centres.

Gift Voucher - Learn to Wakeboard

Start wakeboarding gift voucher / Experience day - Brighton

This is the perfect introduction to the world of wakeboarding and will get you up and going on the board. It provides instant fun for all. It’s exhilarating, exciting and extremely addictive. Based at the great learning location of Hove Lagoon, Brighton and using a System 2.0 Wakeboard Cable makes learning easy and fun. Tuition is from BWSW instructors. All specialised equipment is provided, including wetsuits.

Sessions run most weekends from April to the end of October and some weekday evenings. Sessions last between 1 and 2 hours depending upon group size. Max group size is 4 people.

Vouchers are Valid for 12 months.

Course includes:

Basic stance
Dock starting
Starting from the water
Riding in a straight line
Turning around.

Suitable for: Complete beginners age 14+ (Under 14 please call)

Learn to Start Windsurfing Gift Voucher / Experience Day at Hove Lagoon, Brighton, Sussex

Windsurfing invites you into a world of excitement and action, this sport is highly addictive and once you’ve enhanced the wind there’s no looking back! Windsurfing uses a surf-like board and a sail to catch the wind and get you moving through the water. Modern lightweight kit, expert tuition and waist deep water makes Lagoon Watersports the best place to learn.
Our taster session is the ideal way to get a feel for what windsurfing has to offer. The session is 2 hours long and will give you an introduction to windsurfing, showing you how to use the equipment, get you up on the board and basic windsurfing techniques.
