Kids windsurfing, sailing and Wakeboarding clubs in Brighton

We run a host of kids and youth watersports club from spring through to the autumn.

We have an Onboard sailing Club, Coastal sailing club from brighton Marina, Team 15 windsurf club, and Trantrums Wakeboard club.

You can pay as you go, join our Kids Beach Club and all these clubs are free or purchase a 10 session pass. We stronly advise booking places in advance. This is essential for the wakeboard club.

Kids Onboard Club

Fun instructor lead sailing club for kids including RYA OnBoard sailing training and racing

• Run by highly experienced and friendly RYA instructors
• All specialised equipment is provided, including wetsuits
• Perfect learning location of Hove Lagoon combining shallow and flat water right next to the sea to make the most of the sea breezes

About once a month the OnBoard sailing club will run on the sea from Brighton Marina.

Kids Coastal Sailing Club

 Kids Coastal Sunday Sailing Skills

We are offering those kids who have completed their Stage 2, 3 or 4 (or have equivalent experience) the opportunity to sail out on the sea from Brighton Marina and practice their skills.  The sessions are instructor lead and will include coaching and some racing pointers, to really home in on those skills and get the most out of the boats!

Session Format:

• Meeting at Brighton Marina at 15:45 on a Sunday afternoon
• Sailing out on the sea from Brighton Marina, finishing at 18:00
• Sessions are instructor led
• Sessions will include coaching
• Sessions will cover some racing pointers

 Youth Sailing from Brighton Marina

• Run by highly experienced and friendly RYA instructors
• All specialised equipment is provided
• Sailing is in our Laser Statos dinghies – these boats have a keel so do not capsize.  Therefore no need to wear a wetsuit.
• Suitable for Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4 sailors, or those with similar experience
• Perfect for young sailors looking to progress from Hove Lagoon - challenging and exciting, yet always with instructor close by in safety boat.

Course Objective:  Meet and sail with kids their own age.  Make friends and continue to learn in a fun and super friendly environment.

Prerequisites: Stage 2, 3 or 4

Suitability: Age 10+

What to bring: All you will need to bring is warm clothes, sun-cream, hat, snacks, a towel and some shoes to wear out on the water. Buoyancy aid and equipment hire is included.

Kids Team 15 Windsurf Club

Fun instructor lead Windsurfing Club for kids with RYA stage 2 and above. Combines training, racing and fun for kids.

• Suitable for young windsurfers of RYA Stage 2 standard and above
• Perfect learning location of Hove Lagoon combining shallow and flat water right next to the sea to make the most of the sea breezes

Tantrums Kids Wakeboard Club

Come and join our Tantrums Wake Club, getting kids on the water, progressing their riding and having fun!

Each week there will be a different training focus, with a fun element.

All specialised equipment is provided, including wetsuits.

Kids Wakeboarding Club at Lagoon Watersports, Brighton:

? Run by highly experienced and friendly BWSW instructors.
? All specialised equipment is provided, including wetsuits.
? Perfect learning location of Hove Lagoon
? System 2.0 cable wakeboard makes learning easy

Course objective: You will be able to wakeboard on a System 2.0 cable system and will be ready to ride.

Prerequisite: BWSW Bronze Award - can successfully complete the corners

Suitable for: Kids age 10 - 16 that can wakeboard

Ride card: 1 session
Pay as you go: £28 includes £5 for board hire - enter discount code HIRE if you have your own board. Additional £5 if you wish to use hire boards on the slider.
