Peter Hill
Thank you for a super course and the expert and patient tuition. The combination of Barcelona and Sitges tourist sites/sights (and night life!) and the intensive sailing made for a very enjoyable learning experience. My confidence and ability in boat handling has increased enormously especially on the afternoon of our force 7, gusting 8 ! The variety of wind and sea conditions was wider than I expected and I appreciated the experience of non-tidal sailing compared to my usual tidal sailing, adding to my understanding and experience of the extent that tide (or rather the lack of tide) plays both for and against the direction and speed of travel - that was an unexpected takeaway.
