At Lagoon Watersports we offer a variety of ways for groups and company’s to get on the water and take part in some of the exciting and fun watersports we have to offer.

With 20 years experience hosting events for up to 400 people, as well as designing bespoke packages to meet the needs of any group. Lagoon Watersports has a proven track record of delivering a wide range of innovative and exciting corporate and group events.

Corporate Event Watersports Megapark - Brighton

For your day we become a mega park of activities and watersports!

Lagoon Mega Park is a corporate team building event and some healthy competition! The day comprises of a number of challenges based on both water and land. Each team member will experience a range of activities such as sailing, wakeboarding and Kayaking. After these water-based activities, teams will compete in a series of challenges on land, leading up to the Lagoon Derby Race – where teams will compete in a final showdown.  It’s a day packed full of team building activities and oodles of fun!

The beauty of this day is that your team or clients can do as little or as much as they like.

What to Bring: All you need to bring is an old pair of shoes you don’t mind getting wet, towel and swim wear. Wetsuit, buoyancy aid and equipment hire is included.

Aim : Have fun , try some new activities , work as teams, have an element of competition

The competition elements will be made up of three areas
1) Score on the team building challenges
2) Score for the best looking raft (before it entries the water)
3) Race results for the Lagoon Derby

2.15pm Divide into teams 

TEAM CHALLENGES AND RAFT  BUILDING

Work as a team to solve a series of land based 'mind' challenges. Each team will score points which are converted to £'s to purchase raft building equipment from our store. Create your raft with the 'money' you have earnt in the time available.

Raft building is an excellent activity for body and mind! Using barrels, planks and ropes you can test your skills and innovation to build the the best raft or at least one that stays afloat! You then take to the water with your raft, kitted out with buoyancy aids and paddles, to put it to the test and race against other teams! 

The Lagoon makes a great location for team building and problem solving activities.

Everyone will try two watersports activities from the list below

5.15pm Team relay race including racing stand paddle boards, kayaks, either a windsurfer or dinghy and finishing with a racing the raft built earlier.

5.30m - Prize giving for winner of each section ,best overall team and best overall region

Corporate Event - Team Building - Brighton

Team Building Challenge featuring raft building at Hove Lagoon, Brighton

Work in teams and compete against each other to solve a series of Land and Water based mind and physical challenges. There is the options to including GPS navigation challenges. teams score points for each challenge with the aim too gain a head start in the Lagoon Derby Raft Race !

Build your raft using barrels, planks and ropes and test your skills and innovation to build the best raft or at least one that stays afloat! You then take to the water with your raft, kitted out with paddles to propel yourself and go head to head against the other teams.

There is an an element of competition during this event and points can be scored for the Team challenges, the quality of the rafts each team creates and the winner of the raft race

Corporate Event - Mission Lagoon

Your mission…………..To find the hidden treasure buried deep at the bottom of the Lagoon.
You will be supplied with the latest sat nav equipment to guide you. Throughout the mission, you will complete challenges, leading to the unveiling of the combination code to the treasure.

Corporate Event - Sailing - Brighton

Corporate groups in Brighton can enjoy learning to sail and even yacht racing from Brighton Marina and get a view of the city from the sea.

Yacht sailing
Enjoy in your own yacht adventure! After a short briefing with the skipper you will motor out of our base at Brighton Marina. The session will start with getting to grips with the basics of sailing under the watchful eye of one of our professional yacht skippers. Once the sails are hoisted, you will have the privilege to view Brighton from the Big Blue! You can get involved in the sailing as much as you want or sit back and have a more leisurely experience, you can even race.

• Run by highly experienced and Friendly and qualified instructors.
• We have provided corporate events since 1994
• 95% of equipment and staff are in house - we are not an agent we are the provider
• We have run events for groups of over 300 people
• Fully Risk assessed and insured ( Documents can be emailed to you)
• All specialized equipment is provided, including wetsuits where required.

Sample programe for half day Yacht Racing event for 40 people from Brighton:

2pm: Arrive at Lagoon Watersports at Brighton Marina. Meet the skippers and staff for pre sailing briefing.

2.15pm: Get changed into sailing gear provided by us and head to your boats.

Boats - we will provide 5 or 6 boats and skippers

• Board your boat and receive shore based introduction
• Head out from Brighton Marina doe approx 90 mins of sailing training
• All crew members will get the chance to be fully involved in the sailing. Team members will get to steer, work the sails and winches.

3.30pm: Racing 

• All boats will gather for a series of races.
• Skippers and team members will race there boats around a course at sea.
• There will be a number of races and score will be kept of finishing places in each race.

5.00pm: Return to shore

• Get changed.
• Prize giving of Cava for the winning teams.

5.15pm: Event ends.
