Both of the day's matches went the distance with number one in the ISAF World Match Race Rankings and nominee for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year LEROY edging the decider against 2003 ISAF Women's Match Racing World Champion MILLBOURN. In the final CONTI and her team of Giovanna MICOL, Giulia MAZZOTTI and Alessandra MARENZI overcame TUNNICLIFFE 3-2 to record her first win in an ISAF Graded match racing event since 2001.
