Hull was purchased secondhand approx 5 years ago so can’t confirm original age. Original foils (but newish bag). We then purchased new trailer, mast (original boom), sail, racing rig, centre main sheet, toe straps, etc, etc. and did general overhaul. Hasn’t been sailed for 2 years, stored in dry heated garage.

Laser 2000 sail number 2884 “Digny” (built 2002) blue
Sailed regularly on the sea in the summer in north Norfolk, (where it can be seen) and at some 4 or 5 Class Association open meetings and 2012 Nationals. Maintained accordingly, wear commensurate with its pedigree! Last set of new sails bought 2012 (10th anniversary kite). Spare mainsail. Top cover, launching trolley. Ready to sail. Selling as we are buying a new 2000, delivery expected early May.

2000 for Sale
Laser 2000 2733. Built 2001. Club race and series winner 2013. For sale because new boat on order. Main and Jib 1.5seasons old, Gennaker older with a few very small repairs, but sound and very useable for racing. Main and Gennaker halyards replaced August 2013. Main halyard and jib tension cleats replaced 2013 season. Kicker and Cunningham blocks all ball bearing and new 2012. Sheets and control lines replaced in the last two years. Hull in good condition, some small scuffs and fading consummate with age, gelcoat on topsides pretty immaculate – see extra photos available. Well sorted for racing or cruising. Launch trolley in good condition – no road base because I share a single road base with my other boats. New cover. Ready for the start of the season. Based at Snettisham Beach Sailing Club, Norfolk.
