The Sales and Marketing Tools team is inventing the future of Social CRM (Customer Relationship Management). We work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to design and develop a suite of applications for large advertisers, media agencies, and Facebook's global Sales force. Are you intrigued with applying the concepts of newsfeed, social, and leader boards to business applications? Do you want to ship code that impacts hundreds of millions of people? Are you pushing the boundaries of web development? Facebook is seeking an experienced Software Engineer that is passionate about building business applications on the Facebook Open Graph. This position is full-time and is based at our office in Menlo Park.
Responsibilities
- Innovate elegant and useful solutions to solve critical business problems by working across teams in high visibility roles
- Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying systems and APIs across a number of languages from PHP to Java and JavaScript
- Develop upon and integrate with systems hosted both locally and in the cloud (e.g. Force.com)
- Design and develop systems and tools to scale the company
Requirements
- A passion for finding a more efficient solution
- High aptitude and implementation-agnostic approach to engineering
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience working with PHP and Javascript a plus
- Study in a business field or related internship a plus
