Global Business Manager, Emerging Markets

Emerging markets are critical growth drivers for Facebook as well as for our largest advertising clients. This position sits at that nexus, and will drive lighthouse emerging markets success for Facebook’s largest global advertisers in the FMCG, Tech, and Mobile/Telco industries. Facebook is looking for a strategic leader with brand building experience and digital and emerging market savvy to help marketers at Facebook’s largest emerging markets clients bring their brands to life on Facebook. This role will be responsible for pursuing and leading deep collaboration with emerging markets clients who are part of large global marketing organizations. This will be a cross-functional role working with Facebook and client side product, marketing, and agency teams, as well as representing Facebook at client events and conferences pertaining to the account category and development. The position will be based in Miami, Mexico City or Buenos Aires and report directly into the Global Accounts Americas Team lead with priority market focus on Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emerging markets thought leadership and clear direction within the Global Accounts team and the FB Emerging Markets organization, partnering with clients/agencies, presentation and delivery of results
  • Develop strategy and global alignment to ensure growth and achievement of international accounts revenue objectives in emerging markets around the world
  • Collaborate with internal, cross market/regional teams to ensure product improvement, transfer knowledge, and the highest level of client service to improve process/client relationship
  • Actively participate on the leadership team, embracing company culture, mission, and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, 12-15+ years in marketing or leadership role on a creative or media agency account team, or leadership media sales role working with large international clients - MBA a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Extensive experience in brand building, media sales and project management
  • Experience in managing international accounts and delivering the highest service levels to these clients
  • Proven and consistent track record of executing against an aggressive growth strategy and contributing to client revenue growth rates above expectations
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Ability to convert business from other media channels
  • Deep passion for technology and the Facebook product
  • Understanding and experience with marketing measurement approaches
  • Results and detail orientated
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving/decision making skills
  • Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic, passion for building consumer brands in emerging markets
  • The ideal candidate will have contacts with large global clients and agencies in emerging markets in Latam.
