Facebook is one of the leading mobile services in the world with hundreds of millions of mobile users each month, but we’ve only just begun. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic mobile partnerships that will help define the gold standard for social mobile experiences. Deals range from in-bound licensing deals and securing launch partners for new mobile initiatives, to complex one-of-a-kind partnerships that drive mobile growth and engagement of Facebook users. This role is based in Buenos Aires.

Responsibilities

  • Drive term sheet and contracts negotiations for Facebook’s strategic partnerships, and manage relationships post deal completion as needed
  • Work cross functionally within Facebook to understand partnership impact on our products and services, and get internal buy-in for new initiatives
  • Serve as an advocate for partners at Facebook, and identify areas for growth via partnerships
  • Would have to have experience talking to the media and as a speaker in key events
  • Should have strong relationships built with key players

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience, including 5-7 years of related business development experience in a high-growth mobile industry related company preferred
  • Experience at mobile device manufacturer, operator, and/or related start-ups is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals, think strategically, and understand nuanced product issues
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to clarify and summarize complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of mobile business models and experience working with cross functional teams including sales, marketing, product, and operations
  • Extensive experience in communicating with C-Level Executives and building relationships with key stakeholders across the agency community
  • Deep knowledge of mobile business models and Internet/consumer technology
  • Willingness to travel between key cities in Argentina and other south cone cities
  • Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and English
